Bridges to Southeast Asia:
Almost 30 years ago God brought some families to Redding from the Mien people group in Southeast Asia. These refugees from the Vietnam War settled into the area and a number of families from Redding First started reaching out to them. Soon a Sunday School class in the Mien language was birthed, and through the years God has continued to help grow life and ministry with this people group. That growth has now resulted in a desire to send people on mission back into Southeast Asia to build bridges and cultivate the Kingdom of God between here and there. All of this is fueled by long-term relationships as we explore how to keep building those bridges.
