A free exchange of ideas drives this in-depth scripture study. Spiritual growth and community service are a key pairing as we share life together, serving each other and reaching into our community with hearts of compassion.

This group was born out of a desire to build connections within the body of Redding First as well as with the world. A twelve lesson series called Names of God commenced September 15th. It is part of the Moody Classic series by Nathan Stone.

Friendship Class with Sandy Mays

A gathering for the young heart, this friendly group sounds time praying together, enjoying one another’s company, and genuinely loving each other as they study the Bible. This spring they continued their study The Messiah:Message & Mission. All are welcome to join in for fellowship and ongoing conversation with the Word as well lovingly engage our community.

Hooks & Needles

2nd Tuesday of each month, 9:00 a.m. Community Room

Do you enjoy knitting? Or do you crochet? Perhaps you quilt, cross-stitch, or embroider. Whatever your craft, feel free to join us each month as we create together. Projects can be personal or benefit others. Care Net Pregnancy Center and One Safe Place are organizations this group supports.

Joy of Living with Mary Edwards

Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Hammer Hall

A Bible study for women of all ages. Childcare is available. This is a great place to connect with women in our community as we learn together. We study one or two books of the Bible each year, and focus on a memory verse each month. We take time to really get to know each other as we pray and experience life together. There are always plenty of snacks and stories to share as we fellowship together.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

1st and 3rd Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (September – May)

At MOPS, short for Mothers of Preschoolers, we are all mothers to children, from birth to 5 years old. We are a group of women who are all in this same crazy season of life raising little people to do big things.
